Background-

Footballco has appointed Charlotte Thomson as head of women’s football and culture, a role that will drive growth across the company’s women’s football brands worldwide.

Thomson will lead global strategy, content, commercial and brand growth across INDIVISA, Yalla Girl in the Middle East, and Soccer Girl and No White Shorts in the US. She will also create new content formats and build new brands.

She founded The ONE10 Collective, an agency that has worked with Glasgow City, the Women’s Regional Leagues and the Women’s Sport Trust. Earlier, she served as head of women’s football at Copa90.

Footballco president Stefano D’Anna said Thomson brings experience in women’s football content and strategy, along with a deep understanding of the culture around the sport. He said this strength supports the company’s growth and helps partners who value insight, authenticity and cultural relevance reach a growing fanbase.

Women’s football stands among the fastest-growing properties in sport, and the people who understand its audience best are increasingly the ones making decisions.

Thomson’s vision looks well beyond next year’s Women’s World Cup. She said the company’s investment goes far past the tournament, and that INDIVISA has always been about more than the pitch. She plans to grow the brand’s impact in culture, bring more diversity to its storytelling and keep championing the mantra of More Women in Football.
