Rachel Beck, who founded the women’s health brand Vigor Vitamins in South Craven, has made the shortlist for three national business awards.
The recognition arrives only weeks after Vigor took the Sustainable Business of the Year title at the Keighley and Airedale Business Awards.
Beck grew up in Steeton and runs the company from Cowling. She is up for Start-Up Business Woman of the Year and Health and Wellbeing Business Woman of the Year at The UK Women’s Business Awards 2026, and for Female Entrepreneur of the Year at The UK Small Business Awards 2026.
Beck started Vigor Vitamins in 2024 without outside funding. Turning 40 pushed her to focus on her own health, and she grew tired of a supplement market that offered bold promises and little honest help for women facing hormonal change. Her company now sells straightforward, UK-made supplements for midlife women, free of fillers and miracle claims. The multivitamin ships in a refillable Biophotonic Glass bottle.
In less than two years, more than 50 independent stockists have signed on, mostly clinics, aestheticians, beauticians and gyms. Each one came through word of mouth and local networking. Beck also co-founded Thrive Circle, a monthly networking group for women in business.
Beck called the shortlisting a pinch me moment for a small, self-funded Yorkshire firm. She thanked the customers, stockists and Thrive Circle members who have supported the brand.
Both ceremonies will be held at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham. The UK Women’s Business Awards take place on December 18, 2026, with the National Top 10 revealed live on stage, and The UK Small Business Awards follow on December 19.
