Several business leaders from Singapore have been included in the Forbes Asia Power Businesswomen 2025 list. This list recognizes 20 influential women who are the major trendsetters in various industries. Released on November 3, the annual list highlights top female executives from 12 Asian countries and territories. More than half of them come from key sectors like banking, transport, and consumer goods.
Among the Singapore honorees are Kuok Hui Kwong, chairman and CEO of Shangri-La Asia; Png Chin Yee, chief financial officer and incoming president of Temasek; and Jamie Khoo, CEO of DayOne Data Centers.
Kuok Hui Kwong, 48, leads the luxury hotel group through a recovery period following China’s economic slowdown. She has expanded Shangri-La’s property portfolio while steering long-term growth. Before joining the family business, she worked as a financial analyst at JPMorgan Chase and led SCMP Group as managing director.
Temasek’s Png Chin Yee, 50, played a key role in the firm’s organizational restructuring and is set to assume the role of president in 2026. Under her leadership, Temasek’s portfolio value hit a record S$434 billion this year.
Jamie Khoo, 61, heads DayOne Data Centers, the international arm of GDS Holdings. She oversees 14 operating centres and plans to double capacity to over 800 megawatts by 2027 across Asia, including Singapore, Japan, and Indonesia.
Forbes’ 2025 list also includes leaders from China, India, South Korea, and Japan, among them Jane Sun of Trip.com, Maggie Ng of HSBC Hong Kong, and Manasi Kirloskar Tata of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, spotlighting women transforming industries and driving economic growth across Asia.
