Key Background:

Chilton Trust, a prominent US-based wealth management firm and trust bank managing more than $8 billion in assets, has announced the appointment of Jennifer Lee as its new president and CEO, effective October 6. Lee will fill the vacancy previously held by interim president Peter Kim, who will assist in the transition while returning to his roles as general counsel and chief compliance officer.

Lee will report directly to Richard Lockwood Chilton, Jr, founder and chairman of Chilton Trust. Jennifer Lee has been named president and CEO of Chilton Trust, showing the firm’s focus on strong leadership and long-term growth in private wealth management.

With more than 30 years of experience, Lee joins Chilton Trust from PNC Private Bank, where she led the US markets. She has also worked at Wells Fargo Private Bank, Lehman Brothers, and Goldman Sachs. Her experience in investment management, client advisory, and leadership will help guide the firm’s next phase of growth.

Lee holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a degree from Barnard College. She is expected to strengthen client services and support the firm’s strategic plans.

Another good move towards diversity is that her appointment signifies the rising positions of women in the field of finance as leaders.

Chilton Trust has recently added David Daniel, former CEO of Spencer Stuart, to its board of directors, strengthening its leadership team. These changes aim to bring stability and growth in a changing wealth management industry.

The new ideas that the leadership of Lee would implement are certain to redefine relationships with customers and make Chilton Trust a top wealth management firm.
