A new platform focused on financial planning and investment awareness for women has launched in Teesside.

Her Invest has launched a new financial empowerment platform in Teesside aimed at helping women improve confidence around money management, savings and investment decisions.

The platform was officially introduced during a launch event held at Porsche Teesside in Stockton. The event brought together female entrepreneurs, professionals and business leaders from across the region to discuss financial literacy, investment awareness and women’s financial independence.

The launch included a discussion session featuring Her Invest founder Christine Tarran and journalist Sarah Dale. The discussion focused on financial planning, investment access and the importance of financial independence for women in the UK.

Christine Tarran said many women still face lower retirement savings and limited financial confidence compared with men. She added that women increasingly control a significant share of UK wealth but often face barriers such as lack of time, confidence and access to financial guidance.

The platform focuses on helping women strengthen long-term financial planning and build awareness about savings and investment opportunities. Organizers said the initiative also hopes to support future generations by promoting financial education at an early stage.

The event also highlighted the rise of female-led businesses in the UK, following recent findings showing women-founded companies are growing at a faster pace than male-led firms.

Her Invest was developed with support from Female Founder UK and branding agency VIA Creative. Industry participants said the platform reflects growing demand for women-focused financial services and investment education in the UK market.
