Sasseur Asset Management Pte. Ltd., the manager of Sasseur REIT, has appointed Jia Yali as its new chief financial officer, effective 1 January 2026. The appointment was disclosed in a filing to the Singapore Exchange on Monday.
In her new role, Jia will report directly to the chief executive officer and will lead the group’s finance function. Her responsibilities will include corporate finance, financial planning, accounting and budgeting, as well as treasury, tax, audit, internal controls, and compliance. The company said her role will support the manager’s overall capital management strategy.
Since 2022, Jia has worked as a financial controller at Sasseur Asset Management, overseeing financial reporting and improving internal processes for the REIT manager.
Before joining Sasseur Asset Management, Jia worked at LMIRT Management Ltd, where she also served as financial controller from 2015 to 2022. Her earlier experience includes managing financial operations and compliance matters within the REIT management space, giving her deep knowledge of the sector.
The manager said its board reviewed Jia’s qualifications following a recommendation from the nominating and remuneration committee. After the assessment, the board concluded that she has the relevant experience and expertise to take on the CFO role.
Sasseur Asset Management added that the appointment reflects its focus on leadership continuity and sound financial governance as the REIT continues to execute its long-term growth and capital management plans.
