Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company, has appointed Alexandra A. Jung to its Board of Directors. The company announced that Jung will serve on both the Corporate Governance Committee and the Audit Committee. Her appointment expands Wyndham’s board to nine members, seven of whom are independent.

Chairman Stephen P. Holmes said Jung’s global leadership experience and deep background in portfolio management will support Wyndham’s long-term growth strategy. “Alex is an experienced business builder with extensive international investment and operational expertise. Her addition will help us continue positioning Wyndham for sustained growth,” he said.

Jung brings more than 25 years of experience across investment management and multiple industries, including hotel and leisure, consumer, power, industrials, healthcare, real estate and energy. She is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Amateras Capital and also serves as Partner and Head of Private Debt Funds at AEA Investors.

Before her current roles, Jung served as Partner and Head of European Investments at Oak Hill Advisors in London and New York. She also held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, where she led investments in the European Special Situations Group, focusing on credit and equity opportunities across Europe and the U.S.

In addition to her corporate roles, Jung serves on the board of NVR, Inc., a leading U.S. homebuilder. She is known for her work supporting women in leadership and was a founding board member of the Women’s Business Collaborative.

Wyndham operates approximately 8,300 hotels in nearly 100 countries and manages 25 well-known brands, including Ramada, Super 8, Days Inn and La Quinta. The company also runs the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, which has around 121 million enrolled members worldwide.
