Background

Women leaders at the Jollibee Group International develop the strategic direction that creates a global food enterprise operating in multiple regions. The organization brings together three key areas: marketing, operations, and global shared services.

Ana Lourdes Limbaga Aluyen, now President of Chowking Philippines, started her career three decades ago as an Assistant Store Manager in Zamboanga City. She works her way up through various operational roles across different regions before reaching the top of one of the Group’s major brands. Her leadership style centers on accountability and team empowerment. She believes that when things go wrong, a leader takes responsibility, and when things go right, the team gets the credit.

Dorothy Ching, Vice President for Marketing at Jollibee Philippines, works to keep the brand attractive to younger Filipinos while maintaining its original identity. Ching considers her position as brand leader for this company to be her most important duty. She describes her approach as one that combines high standards with empathy, believing people perform best when they feel trusted and supported.

Maria Fe Monina Jayma-Cacayan, Jollibee Worldwide Pty Ltd Vice President and Finance and Accounting and HR Shared Services Head, develops systems that support international business expansion. She leads market and brand integration efforts, which she began after entering the Group at the start of the pandemic. Cacayan says true leadership means creating a space where people can show their talent, no matter their gender or background.

Together, these leaders embody a larger movement within the organization. Women make up 53 percent of the Jollibee Group’s workforce and hold 48 percent of senior leadership roles. Through its Employer Value Proposition, the company keeps investing in mentorship, growth, and an inclusive culture where people find real meaning in what they do.
